This was a quick project exploring physical artifacts as tools to augment computational experiences.  For this project I looked to a game I was quite fond of at the time, Angry Birds.  I found that as entertaining as the game was, it was also sometimes frustrating.  When using a real slingshot, physical feedback from the tensioned band helps users understand how far their projectiles are going to fly once released.  In the game, the virtual slingshot does not have any comparable feedback, this makes it difficult to recalibrate after missed shots.  By extending the slingshot metaphor into a physical device I was able to provide users with tactile feedback and improve their ability to recalibrate their shots.
