Pillbox was a quick concepting project for the Interaction Design Studio course in the Human Computer Interaction Institute. The project was about identifying and addressing a problem worth solving. To work through this prompt I created personas for members of the population in need (in my case, elderly americans), developed scenarios in which the need was identified, and storyboards to illustrate a proposed solution. The final deliverable was a poster to sell the idea.
Pillbox is a simple device which allows users to scan and doc medication bottles for assisted daily management of users' prescriptions. All a user has to do is press the button and the proper assortment of pills is distributed based on the time of day and whether or not the pills have already been delivered for that period.
